I bought some second hand aquarium equipment and needed to retrofit the old filter. I have used Seachem all round - Matrix, Cuprisorb and Purigen. The Purigen is doing a great job of removing the tanins released from my driftwood and plant matter. As soon as my plants shed leaves those leaves act like Tea - slowly giving the water a yellow/brown look. Purigen will help you out here! Two Thumbs up!
