This is BY FAR - THE BEST grooming tool ever!!! I have had a goldy for 10 years and this is the first thing that has ever come close to getting her comfortable. I found it to remove matted hair and most knots however depending on the coat of your dog or cat you really need to be gentle when using it. Having said that I am very impressed with this product.
